Our organizer and leader! Thanks to Denny for getting and keeping this great group of friends together for so many years. He also might be one of the league leaders in turnovers?
The back of his jersey says it all!!! This guy is absolutely hilarious and always fun to hang with. The self proclaimed leader in scoring has NO idea how to play D?
There is a reason that the group voted his name to head up the marquee of our website. One of the more senior players on the floor who clearly commands the most respect of anyone. This is the guy you want on your team!
No talent but lots of heart. This construction guru dreams of the day that he can build his own gym and say goodbye to the lousy management at the plex. Just imagine, retired jerseys hanging from the rafters and an open bar! I can!
The second most senior player on the circuit. This point guard will never get a rebound but has great hands and can always drain a needed three. POOF! He can also paint your living room if needed?
Do not let the hat fool you. Hutch is one of the most physical players at the plex. Some would call him a "dirty player", others would describe him as underrated.
This University of Tennessee grad always comes to play. Solid in all aspects of the game. Just a hard working blue collar player who minds his own business. Sounds boring?
This picture is from a few years ago but he still has that jet black hair. Just for men products? Our most senior player who after six decades still has one of the highest shooting percentages in the league.
Thanks to Denny for finding this perfect image of Eddie. This guy is a ton of fun to hang with. Always the life of the party! And by the way not a bad hooper either. One of the best defense players we have.
This is one unique guy right here! They clearly broke the mold when they created this monster. Besides Jay he is the best post player on the floor. His only weakness, (besides hygiene), is his inability to be honest with his calls. He has a knack for finding his way into more games than anyone else for sure!
Big John reminds me of a crane on a construction site. He goes about his business very quietly and professionally but does all the heavy lifting required to get his team a win whenever possible. This is one strong dude under the rim and has recently found the three point arch!
Andy Warhols most famous work of art might be Anderson Townships most famous high school athlete in 1982. A basketball stud that still shows his talent 37 years later. He would have been something had he not played before the three point arch came along?
A dead ringer for this famous actor who always has the ladies eye. Sherm is a tough competitor with a wicked jump shot. Still a fine defender and can occasionally beat you at the rim. Also known for his legendary estate planning work!
I would have loved to grow up in his household. This brother to "Big Dummy" clearly got the athlete gene. A high school standout in football and basketball at St. X and still knows how to run the floor like no one else. He could certainly use a few more assists in the stat column?
This young Wayne County Kentucky legend still has one of the sweetest jumpers ever to come in the plex. It should be interesting to see how his game still holds together when father time comes calling. One of the nicest guys at the plex!
This former Marine will admit that he never played organized ball but you would never know by watching him play. But do not let the Marine status impress you he is still afraid of the water, cold temperatures and Loves picks.
This former college standout must have played for a complete moron of a coach. I cannot believe that after all the years of competitive basketball no one ever told him not to dribble into three defenders with his head down?
Greg once told me that he tried to walk on at XU. That is very believable after playing with him for a few years. I would describe his game with an A. A for Athleticism, A for the Awesome long jumper and A for this AWFUL picture I found on Linked In
Some of you might be surprised to hear that this guy played college football? Before a successful career as a Taglios pizza franchisee he ran the rock behind an obvious fantastic O line. I love the energy and relentless hustle that Nick brings to the court
You gotta love this guys story. He would make a great 30 for 30. Raised on a farm (not uncommon at the plex) high school standout and a nice college career. He now dedicates his time to educating our youth. We need more role models like this guy
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to the nightmare of Wolfies "patented" sound effect that he makes when he drains the three. It is even scarier that he has some sign language to go with it! Besides the good three point accuracy he is also very effective on the boards!
Tree has been a nice addition to the plex in the past six months. A versatile player that can drain the long three and also has some sweet post moves. I bet if we cut him in half and counted the rings he would be much older than 37?
This is the picture that you get when you miss plex night out and cannot be located on social media anywhere? Just for the record the tattoos do not intimidate any of us! Keep up the relentless hustle and nice jumpers
This aspiring politician can completely light it up when he decides to turn it on. A recent forty under forty business person in Cincinnati and a future father. Congrats! Did you know Lou was a forty under forty in 1962?
Although he has not played with us much lately, Barry was a long time standout at the plex. He now gets most of his games at the Athletic Club. He prefers playing there because it is shirts and skins? I owe my plex career to Barry who invited me to play ten years ago and I am grateful.
What a great addition Matt has become to the plex. His hard work has propelled him in the power rankings way past Wachs and many others. He has a great first step that lets him pass many defenders like they are standing still. Come to think of it, most defenders are standing still?
Did someone say "turnaround jump shot" T has mastered the soft touch of the close range turnaround jumper. Even when you know it is coming you cannot stop it. Did you know that he lead the MAC conference in sacks one year in college football?
Hands down the best all around player at the plex. This guy has all of the elements to make the plex hall of fame. He is super smooth, quick, long and an extremely unselfish player. Will could learn a few things from Bob
If you want a suggestion for a great craft beer, Archie is your man. If you want a completed pass I suggest you look elsewhere. Archie does excel under the rim where the long arms make him impossible to stop
This is the tale of two games. Rich has an absolute prolific offensive game when he kicks it in. On the other side, he wears down easily on defense and get exposed quite often. I watched Fols hang 9 of 12 on him the other night? Yes, FOLS!
Just like a great offensive lineman in the NFL. This guy goes about his business without looking for any recognition. All around workhorse! Can hit the three, take you to the rim, sneak around you for the rebound and relentless defense. Not to mention a motor that never quits.
As the youth movement invades the plex, Jordan is clearly the best of the young crop. He has an extremely high basketball IQ knows how to carry his team to victory. He understands that the key to winning is mixing in the old guys too.
This photo was taken the other day when I stopped by to say hi. He said he should be back in two weeks? One of my favorite point guards to play with because he never yells at me! He clearly respects his elders, a lost art with the millennials!
Another great guy to have on your team. A good defender, nice shooter and very unselfish player. He clearly has the best hair of any other ballers at the plex.
This part time player excels in the courtroom. While his lawyer reputation clearly exceeds his plex abilities, he can always drop the needed three when required! He also can go to his left, unlike Will?
Prisoner of wife, missing in action.
